An Early Morning Encounter With a Loving God
My name is Helga van Niekerk. I live in Cape Town, South Africa and present the Rise and Shine show on 107.5 CCFm, a local community radio station. I love to make Friday's fun-filled. On Friday 30th September 2011, I woke early - around 3am and found myself worried and anxious and anything but ready for fun-filled, fabulous Friday. Finally, 3-45am arrived and it was time for me to get up. As I got dressed, I really felt I needed a touch from the Lord, especially as I had three hours in the studio ahead of me. I felt BLUGH; I felt inadequate, emotional, insecure, unloved, unable, ill-equipped, miserable, hormonal, unhappy, tearful AND IT WAS "FUN-FILLED FRIDAY!!!"  What was I to do? How could I pull off three hours of fun-filled on air time?  I had a time of prayer which calmed me down some.. Then I picked up my Bible. I felt the Lord saying 'Go to the Psalm of your age." At the end of September I was still 46, turning 47 in early November. I started turning to Psalm 47, when I felt a small still voice say 'no, Psalm 46'. I started reading the beautiful words of this wonderful psalm, but when I got to verse 5, that was when I really KNEW it was God who had spoken & He was with me. Psalm 46:5 says "God is within her, she will not fall. God will help her at the break of day."
There was not much more I could do except burst into tears and thank Him for His amazing grace and love! 
Whatever you are facing, GOD IS ABLE. He can turn a BLUGH day into a BEAUTIFUL day. I can say with certainty that after I read that verse, the day absolutely changed. I went to fun-filled Friday with a spring in my step, a smile on my face and joy in my heart. Regardless of your circumstances, you can have peace and joy in your life.

We believe that God sent his son Jesus Christ to come to earth to live as a man. We believe that everyone has sinned and no one is perfect. We believe Jesus willingly went to the cross to die for all of us to forgive our sins.

We believe that the way to heaven is not through being a good person or through doing good deeds, but a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You can have that today by praying this simple prayer: God, I've messed up and have sinned against you. Please forgive me. I need you in my life. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment of my sins and that you forgive me of all of my sins because of what Jesus did. Lord, I ask now that you fill me with your spirit and help me to live a life for you. Amen.

god is great so are his miracles . he is the king of all kings , the ultimate peace and ultimate truth . he resides within us , for his power keeps us alive in the beautiful -more than perfect delusional world he has created . thank him for pouring his love onto us . long live the good god !!

I always feel anxious every morning before going to work. Anxious and scared if i can do the things expected from at work... Will i be jinxed or will miss something... I battle over all these emotions everyday... And so i learned to start my day with a prayer... Thanking God for another day and asking Him to bless me and to bless my colleagues as well... Now, I feel less anxious and I am able to finish the job on time... Thank you Lord for being patient of me... Thank you for all the blessings..
